In an age when even singularity can be generated, by what does humanity bear witness to its own irreducibility?

From Collapse to Witness, seven works pursue this question. Each combines a single-channel ritual video with a material work on canvas.

Plaster bodies generated through reproduction acquire singularity, undergo actual events and gain histories of their own. They bear crowns and tears, kintsugi paths and the forms of testimony, and finally take the position of witness.

Yet even with all of these, the fact that one body directly bore a particular event cannot be transferred to another.

A trace can be reproduced.
Bearing cannot be transferred.

In the age of Tearless Intelligence, human irreducibility resides in the body that has lived and borne its own life.

Memento vivere.
